Normally we put up our Christmas tree before Thanksgiving. I know, crazy! But we love having the tree and decorations out. THIS year because we have such little hands around the house we waited till the week before Christmas. We knew that the boys would want to touch it all the time so we thought we would only put it up when necessary. We finally got it out and had the boys help us put it up. That was interesting! Conner and Ethan thought it was more fun to "sweep" with the tree branches than put them on the tree. Every time we would need one of the branches that Conner had, he would cry and throw a fit that we had taken it. Soon he would find another branch to "sweep" with. We got it up and it turned out nice. Though I never would have guessed that Ethan would be the one that we had to get onto the most about leaving the tree alone. He was taking things off of it almost every day. It was just too much temptation to handle! We ended up taking the decorations down on Christmas NIGHT! Totally unlike us, but we were trying to de-stress so the tree had to go.
