Since Ethan went to school last week for the first time, Conner has had some adjusting to do. The first few days, he really didn't like it. He would walk from room to room crying and looking for Ethan. Well, we got the surprise of all surprises today. Conner has never really talked much except to say Mama or Dadda and babble a lot. Today, he was walking around upstairs in our house and all of a sudden started saying "Ahh-Thahh!" (His version of Ethan) It was soooo cute! Then, when we got downstairs he started doing it again. He wasn't upset, just wondering where big brother was.
The surprises didn't stop there. Bobby swears that when he handed Conner his cup today, he said Thank you. Then, when Bobby left the house to go to a meeting, Conner said "Buh Buh Dadda!" We figured out he wasn't really trying to say goodbye to Bobby, but he was trying to tell Daddy that he wanted to go with him. What a amazing kid! Mommy and Conner are going to go out for a while today since he put in that request. He is growing up so fast.
