Conner has really made a lot of changes in the last few months. He just seems to be maturing so quickly now. He is much more independent and definitely has his own opinions about what he wants. He is starting to talk now and really tries his best to communicate what he wants. He says Mama, Dadda, Ethan (ee-tah), Samson (Sah-sah- our dog), Please, and even attempts (Julia & Boniface - two of our Kenyan friends) He says it Tah-yah and Bah-sah. It is so cute and his vocabulary is growing everyday. When we ask him where his eyes are he automatically points to his ears and says "Eyes!" We keep trying to make his finger slide over to his eyes, but his first instinct is to go for his ears. He knows where his nose is and when we ask him where it is, he pinches it and says "Beep, Beep!" We also ask him where his tongue is and he sticks it out and wiggles it around. Conner now weighs a whopping 24 pounds which is a far cry from the very low weight he was when he was born. He is actually only 3 pounds less than what Ethan weighs. You would never know he had such a scary start in life. He is an amazing kid and he loves life. He is always into everything he is not supposed to be and climbs on anything he can get his leg up on. I wish I had that much energy!
