The time finally came to say goodbye and head off to Kenya. We took enough luggage to fill the whole plane, but we finally got everything in and went off to the airport. After some re-arranging they finally took our bags and we were ready to go. Ethan did great on the flights, but they were a lot to handle for Conner. He didn't like not being able to stretch out like he does in his bed, so it was a long trip for him. We finally made it home though and we were all more than ready to be settled in. It was a big adjustment to go from the winter weather of Iowa to the hot Mombasa sunshine, but we eventually all acclimated to the heat and got in the groove again.
